Takumi said isn't an Eight-Six but a Trueno, which Iketani corrects that a Trueno is an Eight-Six. Iketani asked if Takumi was serious when he told him he didn't know anything about cars or if he was pretending to not know what an Eight-Six was, because he owns one. He then realised Takumi lives at the tofu shop. Iketani takes Takumi out for a drive and Takumi curiously asked if he was staring in front of his house all morning. Takumi appeared before his eyes and asked if he was out for tofu. At the place where she had scheduled to meet him. When his boss reveals that the Eight-Six driver from Mt. I still haven't seen the full adaptation of the manga, but even so, this moment made me feel a little in his shoes, how the lack of confidence and feeling of not being at the same level of skill as the one she admired you make you conclude something like "I don't deserve this?" "Is what she feels real?" "I must be creating too many expectations in this", and this making him think even more about after not seeing her there. From then on, I started paying so much attention to the lyrics that every time I hear it I'm reminded why I got attached to this community of tuners and sports cars. It's amazing how this simple song ended up becoming one of my favorites because the intro to it stuck in my head and encouraged me to look for it.
